The refusal list, with reasons.
Negative space is a policy too. These are the things we decline, and why.
The refusals
- Hotel rooms without kitchens — a coffee maker is not a kitchen; we will suggest alternatives instead
- Reviews we can’t verify — every published review follows a verified event
- Teaser pricing — “from” numbers without bands are how bills surprise people
- Dates we can’t crew — we never hold a date the roster can’t honor
- Hidden travel fees — surcharge zones are published; quote-only zones say so
- Selling alcohol — county liquor commissions differ; client-supplied or licensed referral only
- AggregateRating schema in page markup — on-page Hawaii averages appear only with attributable published reviews; we never inject AggregateRating into JSON-LD
Island-specific refusals
Kauaʻi: the far North without 72-hour notice — one bridge in and out is a logistics fact, not an excuse. Big Island: same-day east-side service — 2.5–3 hours from the Kona roster cannot be wished away.
